Senior VICE PRESIDENT/Chief Financial Officer
In his formative years in rural Montana, Jeff became keenly aware of the struggles that both families and businesses have when times are hard. It is one of the reasons he remains committed to the importance of community banking as the backbone of our local economy. He expanded, “Community banks supply necessary capital to small business customers so that they can create wealth for themselves and their families, which subsequently benefits their employees and customers.”
As Chief Financial Officer of Highland Bank, Jeff Willett is responsible for all of the Highland’s financial functions including accounting, audit, treasury and corporate finance, and he serves on the Bank’s Senior Leadership Team. Jeff is also a member of the Highland Bancshares Board. Jeff joined Highland in 2019 with more than 25 years of experience in financial management because he believed in the vision, strategic direction, and culture that the family-owned organization offered.
Jeff is optimistic about the road ahead. As the banking industry continues to see small and mid-size consolidation, Highland Bank is positioned well to fill the gap. He sees Highland’s culture of high touch service, talented sales team, and progressive approach to product delivery as a winning formula for growth.
When Jeff is not working, he likes to spend time with his wife supporting his three kids’ activities, following our local sports teams, playing the occasional round of golf, training dogs and bird hunting with his family, friends and beloved Labs.
