Highland Bank is pleased to announce that Paula Phillippe was elected to the Highland Bank Board of Directors on January 19, 2021, and serves on the Audit and Compensation Committees. Phillippe is currently a senior level consultant providing CEO, board and executive leader advisory expertise relative to strategic objectives.

Paula Phillippe’s career spans 20+ years of C-suite executive leadership, most recently at Blue Cross Blue Shield of MN where she was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility. Her prior experience includes serving as President Network Operations and Chief Human Resources Officer for Fairview Health Services, Chief Human Resources and Communications Officer for Marquette Financial Companies, and Chief Administrative Officer at RBC Dain Rauscher where she had accountability for human resources, communication, marketing, community affairs, and its foundation.

Phillippe has served on a wide range of business and non-profit boards, including chairing four boards and serving on human resources, audit and governance committees. Phillippe currently serves on boards for: Second Harvest Heartland, Thrivent Member Network – Twin Cities, and Redeemer Center for Life. Prior board directorship includes Klein Bank, Red Wing Medical Center, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota Foundation, Securities Industry Association Diversity Committee, and both the Minnesota and national chapters of the American Heart Association.

Phillippe is a member of the MN Women’s Economic Roundtable and a past recipient of the Twin Cities Business 40 under 40 Award and the Women In Business Award.
